I had a fun day today. Met up with my friend Meaghan who was in town. We went to this great little hole-in-the-wall chinese restaurant. It’s called C F Changs in Natomas off of Truxel. Seriously if you have a chance to go there do. When we first got there it was packed and we were 2 of 3 non-asian people in the restaurant. So that tells you something. It is authentic. Plus they gave you a lot of food and it wasn’t even that expensive. I would so go back there. HAHA now that I’ve written a lovely restaurant review lets move on to the movie. We went and saw Snow White and the Huntsmen. Let me just say, why did they have to put Kristen Stewart in the lead role. She can not act. Honestly, her facial expressions don’t change from one film to the next. She always looks constipated and she can not do any sort of accent to save her life. And I’m not spoiling anything cause y’all have seen the trailers. She goes to rally the troops at one point, I found it to be the most ridiculous piece of acting I’ve ever seen. Besides Kristen, it was still a so-so film. Maybe it would have been better without her. Maybe not. I honestly wish I would have seen something else instead though. It’s not worth your money, if you really have to see it in theatre wait until it hits a dollar theatre and go then.

God is so beautiful and amazing!!!
UH!!! I’m crying here. I’m watching this show/documentary called Amis Out of Order. This man Moses, left the Amish community in ‘02. He works on mentoring the ex-amish in his community. Since then he’s floundered spiritually. This episode he decided to go on a road trip to visit other ex-amish communities and see how they are handling getting closer to God. He’s visited an ex-amish Pentecostal church and now an ex-amish Charismatic church. Watching him see how God can bring healing and restoration is so beautiful and moving. You watch him get a sozo basically on television. You watch him be overcome by the Holy Spirit. It was so breathtaking and moving and GOD IS SO GOOD!!! He might not completely understand these denominations but he sees what God is doing in them. Even more amazing is to see this on television, and to see that the world is being exposed to all that God can do.

Just a little something I would like to throw out there. It’s about Christian Music and what is and isn’t deemed acceptable in most young christian circles today. Most people I know in their late teens -20’s have a problem with most of the music on stations like Air1 and KLove. I get it, it’s cheesy. But I think the people who tear down those songs aren’t seeing the bigger picture. Those songs were written from the heart, in worship of an amazing and wonderful God. Our God. Those songs even though they may use the same chords or chord progressions as other songs are still valid and they can still lead us into an encounter with Christ. We just have to be open to hear what is being said and what God is trying to say through it and worship. It’s so easy for me to turn on Air1 and hear some casting crowns song and just worship. To hear musicians deemed no longer cool and see the beauty n the song. I think people need to get over themselves and their superiority complex they have about music. Embrace the strides and attempts done by those before you. I guarantee you in 10-20yrs people will look back on our music and say wow they were so lame. I can’t believe they did this that and the other musically. It’s all a matter of perspective. It’s also a matter of honor.
So the last 24hrs I kept trying to log in to MyHogwarts and then kept requesting to reset my password, but no email would come. I was like what is going on. Only to remember that MyHogwarts was closed till June. :/
What’s up with all the leading men in tv shows being clean-shaven baby faced guys. Can’t a show employ men with amazing facial hair.
